Tomie’s back! He flew, on a plane, into Manchester, New Hampshire, yesterday afternoon. This means the book tour is pretty much ovah.

But, not long after we returned from the airport, I put a couple of hundred books in front of him for autographing. The book tour is over. The autographing isn’t.

Today, we learned that ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY, November 28th issue, is featuring BRAVA, STREGA NONA as an “EW PICK,” the best of the new pop-ups.

BRAVA is also featured in the December cover story (“50 fabulous gifts under $50”) for REAL SIMPLE magazine.

BRAVA is a NEW YORK TIMES bestseller, a PUBLISHERS WEEKLY bestseller, an INDIE (independent bookstores) bestseller, and it’s #1 at MORGAN HILL BOOKSTORE, our local bookstore.

I’ve posted on the blog a photo of Tomie with Flat Nesy, the reading cow. I took the photo of Tomie and Nesy at the Manchester airport. Heads turned during the photo op.
