The Tomie dePaola eNewsletter Thursday, December 18, 2008 Tomorrow night, Tomie will be featured on “New Hampshire Chronicle” at 6:30 p.m. on WMUR-TV (ABC), Manchester, New Hampshire. He will be reading some of his stories. The last of the autographings for 2008 are scheduled for this weekend: Sunday, December 21 Both of the indoor Christmas trees are up and decorated. The tree with white birds can be seen on the blog. I’ll photograph the tree with paper roses soon. I had hoped to show with photographs on the blog how to make the paper roses, but the process is rather difficult to explain. In fact, I was a failure making the paper roses. If not for Barbara, who works here part-time, and mastered the making of paper roses, there might not have been any new roses this year. Some people in our town still don’t have electricity. I can’t imagine. It brings back unpleasant memories of the Ice Storm of 1998 which devastated New London. Our second and third snow storms of the week are expected during the next few days.
