I’ve done two worldwide Skype-like interviews with Sarah Mackenzie and her Read-Aloud Revival membership - in 2017, and in 2018. I enjoyed them so much that we’ve scheduled another session for Friday, March 15, 2019. I wish EVERY family and EVERY school classroom could participate in these. Sarah Mackenzie IS.THE.BEST!
The Christmas story was told in words and music at Holiday Pops concerts three years ago, and Tomie’s Christmas book art was used to illustrate the story. The experience was spectacular, and moved audiences to standing ovations at the concerts. When Tomie saw his work projected on an enormous screen, and used beautifully and lovingly, he was moved to tears.
The Boston Holiday Pops will be re-creating that telling of the Christmas story during concerts this December. Tomie will attend one of the early December concerts with friends.
He’ll return to Symphony Hall in Boston, MA, on Tuesday, December 18, to autograph books - for ticketed concert-goers - after the children’s concert at 4:30 p.m., and before the evening concert at 8:00 p.m. Famed Conductor Keith Lockhart will also be autographing CDs. AND, JUST ANNOUNCED! Keith Lockhart invited Tomie to join him on stage during this December 18, 4:30 p.m., concert to narrate “A Visit From St. Nick.”
There’s more information about the Holiday Pops concerts at this link…
Tomie will speak at the Catholic Library Association’s Fall 2018 Virtual Conference. He’ll be interviewed by Cathy Ogren. Attend the conference online.
(Tomie will be present as families, young and old, create art.)

I did a worldwide Skype-like interview with Sarah Mackenzie and her Read-Aloud Revival membership on April 18, 2017. I enjoyed it so much that we scheduled another one for April 18, 2018. Hello, New Zealand! Hello, South Korea! Hello, Indiana!
7:00 p.m. is Eastern Time, USA.
Every Friday or Saturday, throughout the year, when I'm in town, and am able to sign books, my assistant picks up books, that need to be signed, from my local bookstore, Morgan Hill Bookstore. The books are returned to the store, autographed, on the following Monday.
If you call the store by Saturday, December 16, 1:00 p.m., Eastern time, you should be able to order one of their in-stock books to be signed, and even personalized. I imagine the orders will be shipped on Monday, December 18, but check with the store.
December 16, 2017, is the cut-off for book-signing this year. Book-signing will resume in the new year... at a date yet to be determined.
