Tony was a music teacher at Meriden (Connecticut) High School. Tomie devoted a chapter, “The Christmas Sing,” to Tony Parisi, his Special Chorus, and the annual Christmas Sing in the book, CHRISTMAS REMEMBERED.
Tomie dedicated TOMIE DEPAOLA’S BOOK OF CHRISTMAS CAROLS to Tony Parisi: For Tony Parisi, who directed the Special Chorus at Meriden High School and brought much Christmas joy to the entire city with the Annual Christmas Sing. (Bob)
