One of Tomie’s proudest and happiest moments of his career was the Currier Museum of Art’s exhibition, “Beyond Words,” featuring illustrations by Tomie, Beth Krommes, and David M. Carroll during the summer of 2018. The Currier, from director to volunteer, showed him such respect, appreciation, and love that he left our many visits to the museum with the deepest of joy.
